The workshop is an opportunity to share promising strategies for serving adult learners, to discuss the latest research with implications for returning adult students, and to network with colleagues from across sectors working on adult college completion. For more information, visit the website and take a look at the attached preliminary agenda.
Proposals are being accepted for two of the workshop’s sessions, the Marketplace of Ideas (designed to highlight projects and programs producing results for adult learners) and the Research Exchange (sharing new research relevant to adult students). For education technology enthusiasts planning to attend WCET’s Annual Meeting, which is taking place November 11-13, 2015, the ACCN Workshop will conclude in advance of their opening session and will be located in the same hotel.
